CMS - Publishing Task 3

 CMS Publishing Task 3 Migration:  To migrate my website and get it online, I first started with logging into my "iFastNet". After installing Wordpress and linking it to my Database, I installed the "All in one migration" plugin to import the wordpress file. Just before importing the site, I used the same plugin, to export the locally hosted website. I personally perfer to use a plugin for this migration process as it makes the whole process quite seamless and you dont have to worry about forgetting certain files. In the end I ended up using iFastNet as they allow you to pay for a new domain name through their portal. There C panel is also quite useful as it has all the applications you would need, eg wordpress installation, file manager, mySql etc. Theme: I ended up using the "Blocksy" theme, I really liked the theme as its specifically made for a e-commerce theme. Its going to feature a landing page that will include information about the business and what they sell. Eg, 100% organic candles etc. Using some UX Design elements I am going to create a shop front that the user can view all candles via an ordered set of columns and rows. Something like this: Another UX feature I would like to have, is a search feature. Especially with the likes of scented candles people grow accustomed to which scents and smells they like other others.
